Greetings Fellow SaVages and Guests!
It's been a long time since we have seen much in the way of updates to this website not to mention the forums. Also, the past week has been rather hairy. I have transferred the site to my own host and although we had some serious technical difficulties in getting it up and running, here we are. I want to thank Vader for being a big help in this transition. I also want to put a serious thank you out to Freddy of Nuklear2 fame who helped put this site and forum to begin with back in the beginning! Without his help, we would probably still be stranded without a home.
Greetings to the many many new members of SaVage that have joined us in recent months. There are too many of you to list here but know that in the future, I plan on keeping this site up to date with the latest news, gossip and shit I find entertaining in our little corner of the universe.

Attention All Admins & Everyone Else too.
It has come to my attention that certain admins have been using the server as their own personal playground, changing gravity, air acceleration and so forth. I am here to tell you that shit is unacceptable. You are given admin with the understanding that it will be applied with discretion and will not be abused.
It also has come to my attention that some unnamed clan-members have been visiting certain maps when no one else is around to pad their stats and rank. It is common knowledge that a certain aim map has bots with nothing but pistols and victory is assured. As a result of this and other bullshit with statwhoring, stats are now OFF.
Lastly, I will remind everyone that the aim of this server was always to create a team atmosphere designed to promote strategy, tactics and teamwork, a place like no other server, where the actual premise of the game of counter strike is realized. This has been lost because A) the bots are too wimpy B) statwhoring rules the day. Effective immediately, both situations have been rectified. I have increased the bots skill in 2 very real ways 1) decreased the time between aiming calculations 2) decreased the actual amount of inaccuracy they have while on the move.. essentially I made them better shots. (reduced x/y variation).
I am hoping these changes improve the tenor of the server. I know some of the veterans will undoubtedly appreciate the return to this type of gameplay. I hope some of the newer guys learn to love it as we do.
