History 101:
This is the story of SaVage Clan. Much like Romulus and Remus founded Rome, two intrepid guys named WeeZy and McMillan created SaVage Clan in the summer of 2004. They had the goal of creating a clan whose major components would be fun, friendship & stirring up trouble. Who knows why WeeZy and McMillan decided to name their new clan SaVage but it stuck partly because the newly formed SaVage clan spent their time on the Til Death Do Us Part Custom Maps Server run by the infamous leader, Mr Blond. Thus, SaVage Clan started as a two-man show but with a new home began a steady increase in members shortly after its inception. Once the clan had been well established and had a signifcant membership, WeeZy and McMillan brought in the aforementioned Mr.Blond who still runs the clan's Til Death Do Us Part server. It took ages for him to join as an official member but has always been around to throw down some knowledge. With Mr.Blond now part of the team, focus was placed on tweaking the custom nature of the server activity and increasing membership to form a unique community.
SaVage Clan now boasts over twenty members and continues to grow stronger every day. The clan, which is now in its 5th year, still hosts the best bot server in CS 1.6 as well as this kick ass website and forum. SaVage now has a 10-person private server in addition to their 28-person public bot server, their own Ventrilo server, and a Myspace to call their own as well as the aforementioned professionally designed website thanks to one of their most active and deviant members, Vader. With a growing community, the SaVage Clan intends to expand on what they already have and possibly take strides towards developing their own CAL team for future seasons of CAL. Although it is uncertain what the future will bring, the SaVage Clan hopes to expand their members and increase their servers as time progresses. One certainty is the goal will always remain the same, to have fun and build strong friendships. These are and always will be the cornerstones of our SaVage Nation.
No history would be complete without mention of some of our more colorful members. The server owes its name Sweeney who has been around since the beginning but didn't join the clan until much later. She is still our resident hot chick who will put a bullet in your eye. Vader is probably the single biggest contributor to the SaVage community aside from Blond. He built this website and forum and for the last year has been the go to guy for public relations. Lockdown is our resident loose cannon. He spends his time on the server as his escape from the "real world" so needless to say, his temper is not at its most controlled state when he is on. Makki is our resident mapmaking expert. Several maps in rotation our his own creation. Way to go Mak! Every one of SaVage's members is character worth knowing and they all have made contributions whether big or small. As time goes on, I will add whoever kisses my ass the most to this list.
